About Mr. Speed Coatings

 

Mr. Speed Coatings, LLC has set the standard for powder coating from mild to wild.  If it can be powder coated, Mr. Speed will perfect it.  Custom single items to large production runs, we can handle it all.  From metal ornamental ironwork, car parts, motorcycle parts, wheels, lots of wheels, pretty much anything that is metal and can be heated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit can be powder coated. 

 

Mr. Speed Coatings is a mom and pop shop.  James Terry, the owner of Mr. Speed, has over 40 years experience in the powder coating industry. He began Mr. Speed Coatings, LLC in February 2014, located in Goodlettsville, Tennessee.  James and his wife, Vicki, who is the office manager and part owner, met in 1978 at a powder coating shop where they both worked in the late 1970's.  The story goes that Vicki was the only other person who could keep up with him.  James will tell you that she was the only reason he slowed down.

 

Mr. Speed gets is named for James Terry who runs around at lightning speed all day every day.  There’s not another powder coater around that can beat our quality and turnaround time.  Even our custom work that takes time and precision is done in an average of two weeks compared to weeks on end from other powder coaters.

 

Mr. Speed Coatings has been featured on “Gearz TV” with Stacey David, “PowerNation TV," and has been included in numerous articles in magazines like

“Rides Magazine.”  Our work can be seen on many show cars and wheel displays each year at The SEMA Show the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world.  We take great pride in our work.
